5/31/19 Here's a picture from the morning on the day we go to Robben Island. The breakfast here is better than at home, especially the apple juice because it's green (Aizon 2019). Robben Island was the place where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years during apartheid, and hopefully we'll learn a lot more on this trip.  -Walter Ip.

We had a second day in SA! Before heading off to IAmPassion , we had the privilege of meeting Sister Gladys and learning about the history of Nazareth House. Our gifts arrived safely and were greatly appretiated. The days highlight included attending IAmPassion , a youth leadership organization that provides curriculum and outreach to teenagers and young adults to learn the importance of leadership and assist them in starting their own buisnesses. We met the wonderful staff, learned about the history of Mitchell's Plain, and journeyed through the local shops and buisnesses (like a farmer's market, but scarier.) All in all, a great immersive experience and a 10/10 day.

Hello, everyone!  We are having a pleasant visit in Cape Town after a brief, but incredibly informative stop in London on Tuesday.  We saw Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, St. James Park, Parliament, and Heathrow Terminals 5 and 3. Wednesday we arrived in Cape Town, dropped our bags at Nazareth House, and promptly set out for Table Mountain - magnificent views of Cape Town and Robben Island.   Internet access is very limited.  We are not in Silicon Valley anymore!  Bandwidth is narrow.   We are signing off for now, but we'll be in touch when possible.   Peace and blessings from the Red Sofa Cafe in Vredehoek.

Waiting at SFO...

Mon.@ 4:30 PM

Good evening. We’ll be meeting at SFO terminal “I” for “international” (not to be confused with "terminal one")  at 4:30 PM on Monday.  British Airways sends domestic flights out of SFO, but WE WILL MEET AT THE “INTERNATIONAL” TERMINAL.  We’ll meet at the British Airways ticketing counter NEAREST THE INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL ENTRANCE.  Just look for the students in our group.  Here is the proper location of our blog: https://bellsinsouthafrica2019.blogspot.com/ See you soon!
